Three girls in the modern day, are playing in their grandfather's house when they find an old record titled "Be Like Betty". They begin playing it and are soon whisked away to 1950 where the older versions of themselves must learn the Do's and Don'ts of dating. They go up against Betty, the perfect example of how a young woman should be. Each of the girls goes on a date with Jack an all American guy, and compete for his heart. All the girls struggle-except for Betty. As tensions rise, they all think maybe if they were a bit more like Betty...things would be different.
