Inspired by a Tumblr blog post from way back when, this song / video depicts a relationship in its hazy in-between state. The narrator is in love with someone but isn't sure if the feelings are mutual. She feels like she is tiptoeing around wishing for commitment, but would almost rather stay in that "tightrope walking rendezvous" than be rejected. Despite the uncertainty, there is a hopefulness and beauty to the gray.
